Mark Girouard

Mark founded STAGE RIGHT VENTURES to meet the growing needs of the lower Middle Market. His extensive background in corporate finance and transaction services uniquely positions him to provide expertise and advocacy for entrepreneurs and investors. His exclusive approach drives clients to build enterprise business value, strong financial models, integrated solutions, and profitable transactions.

Mark has an MBA in Finance from Boston College and a BA in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has a history of applying exceptional insight to diverse situations through his extensive client work, investment work, and employment experience. He promises to provide unique guidance to clients making successful transitions across a wide variety of industries and complex situations.

Shawn McCarthy

Shawn leads STAGE RIGHT VENTURES in Technology Product Strategy and Development. He has over 20 years’ experience delivering creative, client-centric tools, with value-driven technical solutions. He is highly data-driven, committed to designing content and enterprise platforms using a wide range of technical domain expertise and business acumen. As an entrepreneur and founder of successful technology startups, he showcases effective solutions benefitting many industry segments.

Shawn holds a BBA in Business Analysis with an emphasis in Management of Information Systems (MIS) from Texas A&M University. He has proven leadership experience with small start-ups to fortune-500 companies, receiving software development certifications from Microsoft and Oracle. Shawn sold his software company to PennWell in 2011 and joined as Director of Product Development for MAPSearch, the geospatial and data business unit for the petroleum, natural gas, and electric power industries. His strong background in strategy, operations, marketing, sales, and product development, helps clients find new growth areas.
